stacieps Posted November 30, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2012 There will be 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teens) getting off Disney Wonder on 3/2. We have a rental car booked thru Alamo. 2 have a flight out of MIA at 6:30, other 2 have a FLL flight at 5:30 I assume we'll stay together to do something, then drop 2 off at MIA with other 2 getting on road to FLL at 3:00. So, what would you recommend from 10ish til 2ish? We will be doing Everglades prior to cruise. Thanks for any suggestions!
AGGSBAGGS Posted November 30, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2012 Try a tour bus from bayside. We did that last year. Allison
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 30, 2012 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2012 One option is to drive over to South Beach. You can walk around and then have lunch there. Keith
Normal 1 Posted November 30, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2012 Agree with Keith. Plenty to do at South Beach.... There is a holocaust memorial there that is amazing. You could park near there then it is an easy walk to Lincoln Road with shopping/dining/beach. Very easy to while away the time. Words cannot adequately describe the memorial.... Doesn't require hours to see this..... but would not miss an opportunity to have teens spend 20-30 minutes here (I took my 17 year old 2 years ago!!). Lincoln Road is a great area to sit back and people watch....There are some interesting characters in Miami!! Enjoy!!
FLAHAM Posted November 30, 2012 #5 Share Posted November 30, 2012 I would park in South Beach, do the Duck Tour (advance reservations) and then have lunch in South Beach.
