We are contemplating taking this excursion with our daughters 7 and 9. Would appreciate any feedback on this excursion.

Not likely any wildlife other than eagles. Is your ship going to Haines??? It's a funky small town. :) There is more for you to consider out of Skagway perhaps? Neither are big wildlife areas.

This is something I haven't heard of before.

 

They take you to a park where they train animals for movies, so it sounds like you will definitely see wildlife, just not in the wild. ;)

 

If you do decide to take this, let us know what you thought when you get back.

Yes absolutely- my reference is only for wildlife in the wild. :)
