Price Reductions With the New Rates

I booked my Jan 2013 cruise under the old rates and during a past guest sale that included upgrades. I already received 1 price reduction before final payment, so less to pay. When the new rates came out, I understood that only Early Saver Rates quality for price protection.

 

I submitted a price protection form anyway yesterday when I saw that the price was lower yet again. I fully expected to be told no since it was booked under a rate other than Early Saver. I was suprised this morning when it was approved and the on-board credit is already showing on my booking. Way to go Carnival.:)

you want to keep an eye on that.

 

some times if you are not eligible for it they will take it back.

 

Someone posted not long ago that they were expecting that money when they got onboard and it was not there-- to be told they were not eligible for it
