There are lots of companies in Funchal selling pretty much the same product. We used http://www.madeirahappytours.com/ which is cheaper; they were good and reliable. Most full day island tours are around 9 to 5 (with hotel pick in Funchal area). That timing is probably not suitable for most cruises. We took West & North, both excellent.

You can't go wrong with Daniel Madeira Taxis.We used Daniel for a very enjoyable 7 hour West Madeira tour----outstanding.Daniel knows and loves his island

I went with Madeira-Seekers, in November, and had an excellent tour. Highly recommended.
