Sun Princess

A two second google of "Sydney port" revealed this:

http://www.sydneyports.com.au/port_operations/cruise_schedule

Schedule shows that on April 1 the Sun will be at White Bay 5. Where is that you say? Navigate to the home page of this website, and in the lower right corner is a link to "interactive maps." On the right are links to all the main docking areas including "Glebe/White Bay" which will clearly show you the position of the pier and if you zoom out you can orient yourself to this location (new Darling Harbor).

Enjoy the Sun. She was our favorite!

we are booked to go on the Sun Princess from Sydney on the 1st April Can anyone tell me where this ship leaves from:

yes your ship departs from White Bay 5 which is close to Balmain and approx 15 minute taxi ride from the city

You will be amongst the first to use the new facilities at White Bay. Its stuck out a bit as far as public access is concerned so it may pay to study up on the map so you can tell the taxi driver where to go, as it will be new to many of them....

they may try to take you to the old location.

These two ships are more than a generation of ship design apart. The Sun is going to be much more intimate and will not have all the little specialty type locales that you experienced on the Eurodam. That said, the Sun and her sisters were my favorites and I truly miss being able to sail them. They had the best main pool area in the fleet.
