I haven't noticed any specific programs but what I have seen are postings on the Roll Call to meet, usually at the coffee shop and they make their own M&G and hang together.

If there is a large number of 18-20 yos sailing, the CD will have a meet and greet time for them in the Patter, usually on the first or second night. Nothing fancy, just a time and place to meet and one of the cruise staff to facilitate introductions. Some CDs will schedule nightly activities for the group (karaoke, Wii, "casino night", etc.) and some will just have this meetup on first night - it varies. We have seen this on all of our Christmas/NYE cruises and summer sailings, so if you are sailing at a school break time you'll likely see this onboard too. Hope that helps.

Our 19 year old had a great time. Hung out with other kids his age, played trivia, danced, and attended some FOD meetings. Loved cruising!

Your 19-year-old seems to be fairly outgoing. Glad he found various things to do on the ship. Holiday sailing seem to be a good time for families to cruise. I would expect lots of fellow passengers in his age group. A lot of the activities planned for that age group will definitely depend on the Cruise Director. A good idea is to get to know the Cruise Director. Also, check the Patter for activiities, including FOD meetings.
