afreetdragon Posted December 9, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2012 I'm interested in booking a cruise on the Carnival Dream in September and I'll be on the Glory in January....my question Is there any benefit in booking the cruise while onboard in Jan or should I go ahead and book now? cruisinqt Posted December 10, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 10, 2012 If you booked on board you used to get extras but they've changed the whole system recently and im hearing they arent offering anything on board anymore.:( So you might have to call carnival to find out. This far out you're probably ok to wait until the cruise to see if there are any offers unless you are wanting something that's popular that sells out quick like an extended balcony. :)
AdGuyMG Posted December 10, 2012 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2012 You will get $100 On Board Credit for your Dream cruise if you book it on the Glory.
katiel53 Posted December 10, 2012 #4 Share Posted December 10, 2012 If you book onboard with the Loyalty Ambassador, you will get a $100 onboard credit to spend on the cruises you are booking. Unfortunately, the certificates that they used to sell are no longer available. I used to buy the future cruise certs but because they are no longer available, after our next cruise which is already booked and paid for, I think we are going to change cruiselines for a while. I don't want to have to decide before the cruise or while on the cruise which cruise I will book next. I also don't like having to pay the $500 deposit while on a cruise. Paying $100 was fine, but Carnival decided to make changes and so am I.
