Island Princess partially obstructed balcony

We are looking at booking a Panama Canal cruise on the Island Princess. Has anyone sailed in any of the four BH category balconies with obstructed views? If so, would you share just how much of an obstruction there is thinking in terms of viewing as we pass through the Canal? Many thanks.:D

Hope these pictures help. It looks like there is a slant to the metal that covers a good part of the balcony.

In any event, I would go up on deck when going through the Canal. Even with an unobstructed view from your balcony, you would only be seing part of the experience.
