hendey47 Posted May 30, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 30, 2005 I was told that they have changed the sirloin steaks that are offered everyday to FILET, can anyone verify that info is correct?
crusdiva Posted May 30, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2005 I was told that they have changed the sirloin steaks that are offered everyday to FILET, can anyone verify that info is correct? On our recent Caribbean Princess Cruise (5/7) the sirloin had been replaced by beef tenderloins.
Rare Coral Posted May 30, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 30, 2005 In Alaska on the Sun Princess- they had both the steak (can't remember if it was NY Strip or Sirloin) and also Tornados of Beef (filet). I tried the tornaods of beef and it didn't taste good at all. It was nothing like how it is on formal night. Hopefully this is an isolated incident. hurwitz5 Posted May 30, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 30, 2005 Just returned from the Caribbean Princess on Saturday, May 28. Both the sirloin steak and the filet/tournados of beef were part of the anytime menu, along with chicken and salmon. The best steaks are in Sterling's Steak House - well worth the $15 per person extra charge.
rjscott Posted May 30, 2005 #5 Share Posted May 30, 2005 On our recent Dawn cruise, they offered a sirloin steak every night, but on a couple of nights they offered filet in addition.
