Times Prince Posted December 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 16, 2012 That indicates an automatically closing fire door at that location. Not a big deal.

satxdiver Posted December 17, 2012 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2012 for example, it is near R4011 and R 311 but is on all stateroom decks I am looking at the Princess website and have the deck plan for the Caribbean up. All I see in the hallways are the fire doors. For example there are fire doors near R401, R501, R601.... As far as I know they are closed manually by the crew but I have never looked at them closely. I doubt they close automatically since pax could be trapped in between them.

When booking cabins together, keep that in mind.
