Carnival Magic 12/9-16 Review

CrazyBoys - We also stayed in one of the Deluxe OV Cabins. I have a review in my signature with pictures of the Cabin. My husband and I and our kids loved this type of cabin. Hope that helps....

Sounds like you had a great cruise. We are on the Magic in August and this will be our first time on Carnival. Our DD, DSL, and DGD will be in the adjoining cabin. It will be their very first cruise and we were wondering how dressy formal night is in the MDR? Is a dress shirt and tie OK or do you need a jacket? We just returned from a HAL cruise and their formal night requires a jacket for the men in the MDR.

 

Also, saw the Razorback and was wondering if you live in Arkansas. We live in LR and will probably drive down the day before but must admit love the non-stop SW into Hobby.

We just got back from the Magic as well. We liked the ship too. The only thing that I'll add is that a Dave & Buster's game card will work just fine instead of your sail and sign card to keep the lights on.

The "Elegant" nights were Monday and Friday.

We're going on the Magic tomorrow. Do they have a blow dryer in the cabins?

Yes, but they are the very small, hotel type hairdryers. I recommend bringing your own if you are particular about it (like me). Also, there are two electrical outlets on the vanity area in the cabin. The only outlets in the bathroom are the type that are made only for electric shavers.
