Laurin612 Posted January 5, 2013 #26 Share Posted January 5, 2013 We stayed in Galveston before our spring break cruise on the Magic last year and ate dinner at Casey's, based on recommendations here. Our family really enjoyed it!
suebee53 Posted January 6, 2013 #27 Share Posted January 6, 2013 My new Galveston fave is Jimmy's on the Pier, the only restaurant literally over the water. The best fish tacos I've ever had ANYWHERE. There's a wonderful patio for warmer weather, and an enclosed area for colder weather. The only thing is, the eating area is upstairs and I don't see an elevator. http://www.galveston.com/jimmysonthepier/

And tacos and food are good. :) I've only been in warm weather. Good views but not sure about heat with wood fireplace middle of room. I will reserve judgement after being there on cold day.
