Kiwi_cruiser Posted December 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2012 On our last day in Sydney after spending two days their after our cruise. That morning we decided to go down to Circular Quay to kill some time before heading to the airport to catch our flight back to NZ that evening and who was there? The Carnival Spirit and Costa neoRomantica! Sunday, 16 December 2012. Here are a few photos I took that day of both of them: Close up on the Green Thunder: Carnival Spirit from the Opera House:

6andy6 Posted December 28, 2012 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2012 Nice pics. However the Green Thunder looks tame compared to a water chute ride on one of the Disney ships called the Aqua Duck. It's an enclosed glass Perspex top and bottom and actually comes out and hangs over the edge of the ship for several metres before coming back on board and going through several covered in and light up sections. Cruise ship fan Posted December 30, 2012 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2012 Nice pics. It would be the other way around. THe aquaduck is slow and made to suit everyone, the Green thunder is a high speed slide. Just see it in person and that will really test how brave you are.
