Aft balcony on Liberty?

I remember on our last Liberty cruise that a person on deck 8, above us, had a much bigger balcony than the other aft balconies. He said he always books that specific room for the big balcony. Does anyone know what the room number is? Also, for people who have had aft balconies on deck 8, Is it noisy above them. I always worried that the deck chairs above might be noisy when moving.

The last time I booked an aft balcony on a deck below the Lido, I was awakened by the crew setting up the deck chairs every morning starting around 6AM.

I think you are talking about 8450. We had that cabin. It is right next to the aft wrap. Yes, the balcony was big. We never heard anything from above.

Thanks. That is what my husband thought, next to the aft wrap. We are doing a b2b and thought that would be a great room. The only thing I was worried about was the noise.

We are about to sail in 41 days on the Liberty in room 8454 which is an aft extended balcony! I will take a peek for you and post when I get back but if you check the reviews for cabins there is a review on 8450;)

The couple above us on the aft wrap said they head the chairs and the noise daily from their cabin. It happened every single day, but was over with before they knew it.

Yes....I had an aft wrap on deck #8 on the Liberty and would strongly suggest you choose deck#7.

The chairs are ALWAYS scrapping because of the 24 hour pizza that is above you also...

I would not choose this deck again.

8457 is the other room with the bigger balcony, we occasionally heard chairs from above but usually during sailaway from a port

We are in 8450 for our Honeymoon in April on the Liberty. We'll have plenty of information on this cabin in our review. I changed our original aft cabin to this after doing some research and found that this balcony is larger than the normal aft balconies.

8450 and 8457 seem to be about 1 1/2 balconies wide. Definitely worth the upgrade in my opinion. I won't hesitate to book this room again.

im going to be in that same room in february. so needless to say i cant answer about the size of the balcony. however, we have the aft wrap on a sister ship and didn't have any noise issues (and im a light sleeper) we were on the opposite side of the pizza station, so maybe thats why

Does anyone know if lounge chairs/chaise are available on the wrap balconies? It seems like there should be as the balcony is so big. I am considering an aft wrap balcony and was just wondering.
