Cruising the Med in Jan

Thinling of doing a 7 day Med cruise in mid Jan on Costa Pacifica....so far as sitting by the pool what happens..do they keep the roof closed..any info please

At worst, the west med itinerary in January will take you through probably chilly, cold, wet weather to down-right freezing on its northern fringe. In the covered pool area you'll feel as if you're in a sauna. Can be a bit noisy though.

We just cruised on Pacifica in December, and the roof was closed over the pools. It was slightly noisy when all the kids were swimming, but otherwise not too bad.

I am doing the Pacifica next week . I got an amazing deal and just needed to get a week away. I have been checking the weather and its a real mix. I was aware of that when I booked so either way I will enjoy the trip whatever happens. Hoping for a few nice bright crisp sunny days maybe even mild. The covered pool will be a nice place to relax morning or after being sightseeing. Hopefully not too many kids as its not school holidays.
