spazwok Posted January 4, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2013 Hi I have done a search of the forums and it seemed many people ask this question but there is never really a clear answer so I am hoping people who have cruised Hawaii before will be able to help out in answering. We are doing the 14night cruise with Princess from LA. What is the taxi situation like at the below ports? Are there plenty available or should we book a taxi if we require one? - Honolulu - Kauai - Maui Thanks Alissha
CruiserBruce Posted January 4, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 4, 2013 Taxi Golden Rule #1- go to where the fares are. Taxi Golden Rule #2- Cruise ship in port = fares.
spazwok Posted January 5, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted January 5, 2013 So in an unnecessarily sarcastic way you are saying there are plenty of taxis available at each of the listed ports? Is that correct?
CruiserBruce Posted January 5, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 5, 2013 Yes. This is a worldwide taxi common sense rule. Even in Australia.
spazwok Posted January 5, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted January 5, 2013 I don't think that you need to be sarcastic when someone asks a simple question. I was wondering because potentially with thousands of people on a cruise ship, they might get taken quickly and it might be better to book. Thanks for being pretty rude though.
