Email regarding boarding time

Recommended Posts

We have sailed numerous times on Carnival, but never out of Miami. The other day we both received emails regarding the boarding time, which was listed as 1:00-2:30 pm. Normally, we cruise out of New Orleans and would board whenever we wanted. I do not recall ever getting an email like this one.

Is this unique to Miami? something new? Is it stirctly enforced?

Thanks for your thoughts.

I got the email for my sailing on the Breeze this Sunday. I don't know why they bother to send them to Platinum guests since priority embarkation is a perk that we all look forward to.

I'm usually checked in by 11am and on the ship no later than noon in every port I've sailed from. I would never wait until 1pm to arrive at the pier.
