NCL from Houston

I've read the other posts about NCL Jewel coming to Houston in 2014. I'm thinking about booking for that fall. I've researched the ship on the NCL web site and although she's a smaller ship, she's beautiful and the cabins look really nice. Our first cruise was on the NCL Sea back in 2000 so it's been a long time. We're 58 and 65 and LOVE cruising. Will we like the Jewel?? :)

I find it quite humorous that at a mere 93,000 tons, the Jewel-class ships are considered small. :)

Jewel is a much nicer ship than the old Sea was. If you liked the Sea, you will love the Jewel.

Houston is lucky to get a nice ship like The Jewel. Loved my 15 day cruise on that ship.

I was really excited to see that NCL is going back to Houston. We sailed on the gone but not lamented Dream from there and had a great cruise. And the Jewel is a great ship.

We sailed the Sea and Dream out of Houston. I'm glad they're coming back to a new cruise port. We love the Jewel class ships, not too big, not too small. You should have a great time.

The Jewel is our favorite ship and we will be sailing on her out of NOLA next year. Since we are in Texas I imagine we will be on her more often!!!

We have already booked a penthouse for Nov. 1 2014 on the Jewel. It will be our first NCL cruise.

Would love to cruise from Houston again! Our last cruise from Houston was also on the Sea, their last voyage from Houston to L.A. through Panama Canal before transferring to Asia. What great memories!
