florida lover Posted January 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 11, 2013 We live in a development in rural Tennessee. Our driveway is so steep that it is impossible to drive up it with any snow whatsoever on it and the roads in the development are not plowed. If we happen to have any snow on our driveway on the day we leave for our cruise we won't be able to make it to the airport. The Allianz Insurance special policy that our Amex travel agency uses will not cover us in a snowed in situation (i called and asked). Does anyone here know of a travel insurance carrier that might be able to cover our situation? Thank you.
klfrodo Posted January 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 11, 2013 Cancel for Any Reason is all I can think of. 2 problems though 1) Cancel for Any Reason only reimburses 75 - 90% depending on policy and sometimes only as a credit. 2)Usually have to cancel 24 - 48 hrs in advance of beginning of trip (once again) depending on policy. If concerned, why not park at bottom of hill

maureencruiser Posted January 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 13, 2013 Or stay at the airport hotel for a night before your flight if snow is called for. Or a friends house who can drive you in,
