Orlando hotel near Mall

Will be taking a cruise from Port Canaveral

and interested in staying at a nice hotel

near a good mall. We are arriving a few days

before the cruise to relax and shop.

The Florida Mall at Sand Lake Road and Orange Blossom Trail, tons of hotels in area.:)

There is a Hampton Inn & Suites located within walking distance of the Florida Mall. http://hamptoninnfloridamall.com/

There is also a decent Holiday Inn near Universal as well. It is the Holiday Inn Suites not the HI Express. It's pretty close to the DoubleTree.

The nicest indoor mall is Millenia (has Neimans and Bloomingdales etc) so mapquest it and look for hotels near it. There are a couple of outlet malls too.

There is actually a hotal AT the Florida Mall. Never stayed there because I live less than 5 miles away but it looks really nice. The mall there is very nice as well.

The Mall at Millenia is newer, perhaps a little nicer but also somewhat more expensive to shop there. Closest hotels I believe would be near Universal Studios. Plenty to choose from!
