Me & my fiance are going on a cruise onboard Enchantment of the Seas on june 7th. It will be his first, my 18th. I love royal carribean and have never been let down. Anyways, to make his trip special I want to put together a ''manly'' gift basket for him. I've come up with a few ideas, but some outside ideas would be greatly appreciated. No looking for anything to romantic or serious. Maybe some kind of fun, gag gift kind of things. We like to have fun & laugh. No a serious kind of couple at all. Thanks so much!

I would include a couple bottles of wine, and a few battery operated candles for your stateroom. You could order a Royal Caribbean cap for him from Gifts & Gear, or other items he would enjoy. Or reservations at a specialty restaurant on board for a nice dinner one evening.

Since you said you guys aren't the serious kind, that leaves lots of options. :D I'd get my guy a tacky fanny pack and fill it with fun items. Maybe some Axe body spray or wash, a cheapy waterproof watch, a flashlight or book light, wrapped snacks, etc. Maybe you could get him a wild colored tshirt so you can easily identify him or a custom shirt like onboard groups wear. You could also buy him a tacky printed/satin/sequin tie to wear on formal night.

I like the t-shirt idea. we have done gag ones, even by writing something funny with a sharpie on a t shirt

kid swimmie or something in case he falls off ship, sailor hat, roll of life savers. I am sure the dollar stores would be a gold mind of ideas. temporary tatoo.

a few dollar bills for the casino

We have fun doing scavenger hunts with digital cameras. (this is with my kids in their 20"s) take pictures get back together and see who got the best. we make a list of stuff like, group dressed alike, funniest saying on a t shirt, guy with the shortest shorts, person wearing heaviest winter clothes during summer in the carribean, funniest picture posed with a stranger. ok, my family can get mean but it can be fun

you can give him a coupon book of stuff you make up, like one trip for refill to buffet for him, letting him sit out of a dance or an activity you want he wouldn't, game of basketball or an activity he would want that you wouldn't, a kiss on the bow of the ship

A few years ago, on our 40th wedding anniversary cruise, I gave my wife a "gift a day". Mostly small stuff, but each was gift wrapped and she enjoyed having 1 to open each day. Hair products, book, musicCD, X-word book, of course ... the sexy nightie (but she said that was gift for myself).

It was a fun way to remember our wedding each day.

Pre order a RCCL bathrobe for him that will be in your cabin when you arrive. My DH has used his for many years. You could also/or order a wine and fruit selection to be in your room when you arrive. When my DS @ DDIL got married we gave them a cruise for their honeymoon. I had wine and a fruit plate sent to their cabin and they liked it, or said they did!
