Emerald Beach or Sapphire Beach

We've been to Megans beach and Coki and want to try another beach. We were thinking of Emerald or Sapphire.....any thoughts? We just want to relax and enjoy the warm sun for a few hours. Thanks

My husband and I went to Sapphire beach in Oct and loved it! It's beautiful. It's much quieter and less crowded than Megan's. We definitely prefer it to Megan's Bay.

The nicest beaches are Sapphire, Magens, and Coki in outer opinion and our choice would be Sapphire. We're staying at Sapphire now and we visited Magen's today too. Magens is more crowded than Sapphire and we don't really consider Lindbergh Bay (aka Emerald) to be in the same category with Sapphire.

Could you please tell me if we spend a day at Sapphire is there a place to rent chairs, purchase food or maybe even rent a kayak? Are there any water sports available around there? We are traveling with a group and we have some who'd like to kayak or jet ski...maybe parasail? Just want to see if there is a beach with lots of options. Thanks for any advice.

Sapphire has everything you listed as well as a few drink and food options with runners taking orders on the beach. The dive center rents chairs, snorkel gear, kayaks, sail boards, paddle boards, floats and has the cheapest beer ($4 Heineken or rum punch). Banana Cabana is a small beach grill between bldgs B and C of the Sapphire condo resort and offers a good mahi mahi sandwich and burger and frozen drinks but their beer is $2 more.the Sapphire Grill also has runners with more food options, and Señor Pizza delivers (but Island Time in Red Hook has the best pizza). The Sapphire marina rents the jet skis and has a parasail boat, that's located to the far right as you face the beach. We just spent a week there and the snorkeling was very good, nice clear water.
