Do you change your bedtime when on vacation?

As far as staying up in Alaska, I can tell you based on my experience that there aren't many! I wen't to bed anywhere between 1-2AM on the Diamond last year and the Coral this year and I was just about the only one still awake (aside from the crew). It's actually neat to walk around a 100,000 ton cruise ship and feel like you're the ONLY passenger onboard. I usually try to get more sleep before a cruise starts, so I can wake up early even though I go to bed late. Wouldn't want to miss out on anything! I figure I'll just catch up on sleep when I get home. On the last night on the Coral this year, I slept at 2:30 and got up at 5:30 to catch the sunrise/docking in Vancouver! My main adjustment - getting up early!
