I suspected that it was same without the veranda. It looks like the view is unobstructed and mid ship. We are considering a British Isles cruise and so do not feel the veranda is necessary considering the cool and many times rainy weather!

On the Marina, those cabins are filled with light, and the floor to ceiling window (to me) makes the entire stateroom "feel" larger than it really is.

We sailed in an Oceanview C cabin on Marina for a Scandinavian cruise in June 2011 and loved this room. I am a queasy sailor so mid-ships is great for me, and I knew we would spend no time on this port-intensive cruise on a balcony. As Jim states in his post above, there is tons of light and the cabin really feels big.

Enjoy your cruise! I loved Marina, and hope to find a Riviera itinerary for 2014 that I like.
