rebeccalouiseagain Posted January 23, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2013 I think to keep both the baby and teen happy- you may want to opt for an all inclusive that has onsite babysitting and youth programs. A Hotel room will give you more room to spread out. That's just my opinion because both my boys were crawling by 8 months and I wouldn't want them crawling around a ship. Royal Caribbean does offer a drop in type babysitting service in the youth program but that may or may not work for you. I know my child would probably not have settled down to sleep in a noisy nursery- so I probably wouldn't have felt good about that type of situation. I'm only answering honestly- since you asked about which option is better- I'd do an all-inclusive personally because most hotels do allow babies in the pool with swim diapers. They absolutely can't use the pools on cruise ships.
6rugrats Posted January 23, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2013 If you like all inclusives, hands down, I'd choose one on land. Look at Franklyn D. Resort in Jamaica. They provide you with your own nanny and have great service. They are currently having a 40% off sale for some dates.
