Is "spring break" over by the beginning of April?

NO, not over until the end of April. DD has break last week of April and we are cruising

We have sailed a few times for my birthday, March 26 and it is always a busy full ship spring break time....NEVER AGAIN. We now will go around the first week of May to be safe, and of course always in November (after hurricane season).

So it looks like most colleges are back in session by the beginning of April.

 

(Also, to the poster who said high schools in suburban Chicago are on break the first week in April, that varies by district. Born and raised in the SW suburbs, my break all through school was always the last week in March. I just checked the calendar for my old school district, and this is still the case.)
