Bringing Cork Screw on Ecstasy?

I'm sailing with my grandmother on the Carnival Ecstasy this Thursday! She is a wine drinker, so I picked up a few bottles of wine at the store today. Instead of paying the corking fee in the MDR, I planned on bringing a glass of wine to dinner. Does any one know if I can carry a cork screw on the ship in my carry on luggage?

I've brought one with me twice- never had an issue. I just made sure it was in my checked luggage, not my carry-on.

I just got off a cruise and I brought on a corkscrew with no problem. It was in my checked bag because it wasn't allowed in my plane carryon though.

I've forgotten mine before and my cabin steward brought me one and told me to keep it.

Before all the cut backs if you ordered a bottle of wine from Bon Voyage they used to provide a corkscrew but times have changed. So we always pack one now and have never had a problem.

Corkscrew is fine in carry-on (except on a plane) or checked luggage...

I always take mine in my carry on luggage. No issues whatsoever.

I had a corkscrew taken from my carry on once when boarding the Celebrity Summit in NJ. It was found when i went through the metal detectors at the port. Now if I bring one, its in my checked luggage.
