My MARINER REVIEW 5/22-29...Gonna be a LONG one!

Recommended Posts

In looking at the Compasses from the 9-11 and 12-14yo groups, the activities in the 9-11yo group were more to his interest. His brother was also 11 and they do pretty well together in a group. He would rather do science experiments and such than do "boy-girl" activites, which they did alot in the 12-14yo group. The counsulor said the "girls" like the girl-boy things at 12 more than the boys.

As it turned out, neither of my boys seemed to like Adventure Ocean too much. They would sign themselves out and come back to the cabin to play with their game boys. They would also ride the glass elevators and push buttons FOR folks, not push them all and run off. I watched them a few times to make SURE they didn't do this. They even got a couple of $$ tips! :o

The pre-young teen age is hard to keep entertained! As long as they were not being distructive, I let them have their own time and space, but kept a watchful eye!
