Greysea74 Posted February 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I am sailing on 4/7 on the Pride. Does anyone know if the sports bar will carry the Wrestlemania Pay Per View?
PensFan1028 Posted February 14, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2013 not sure if serious...
Redsfan Posted February 14, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I am sure the OP is serious, and I doubt it will be shown. It would have to be a Pay Event, which I doubt Carnival would pay for, and not even sure it is available through their Satellites used on board
PensFan1028 Posted February 14, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I was told by a local establishment that PayPer View charges per seat for events... not sure the validity of that but I would assume it would apply in this situation as well. dmarie1623 Posted February 14, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I don't think Carnival will pay to show the event.
okgirl Posted February 14, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 14, 2013 No it will not be shown, as no pay per view events ever are....additionally most of the stations in the sports bar are showing ESPN international (hope you like soccer and cricket)...If a major sporting event is shown on a network affiliate (in the Miami market), then that will be what's on the televisions. Redsfan Posted February 14, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 14, 2013 if you get an internet package I am sure you can find a not so legal site that streams events such as this live for free...of course I would never do such a thing...;);)

Sorry OP, I've never heard of any cruise ship showing a live Pay-per-view event but perhaps you could order it before you leave, program your PVR (if you have one) to record it, then watch it upon your return. Good luck! :)
Redsfan Posted February 14, 2013 #14 Share Posted February 14, 2013 This is your answer... Good luck to you. Bill to be correct it was my second reply to the OP...and the first one which answered his question was the first. Each one provided more of answer to the thread than your reply did....:rolleyes:

YankeeFan4Ever Posted February 15, 2013 #16 Share Posted February 15, 2013 I know but if desperate enough it is a solution.... No, not really, with the satellite internet connections that cruise ships use, streaming a live video would most likely not work at all...

pbsteve Posted February 15, 2013 #18 Share Posted February 15, 2013 You can see the same thing if you go to the lido deck and watch kids splashing around, only it wouldn't be choreographed on the lido deck
