  1. While looking at NCL Gem cruises out of NYC for 2021, I noticed they had a 11 day cruise on November 28 that stops in Grand Turk! Is this new for NCL? Did they reach an agreement with Carnival Corp in order to stop at that island? If so that’s great news as we’ve been there many times with both Princess and Carnival and it’s always a relaxing beach day! We may pull the trigger and book as we’ve had 2 cruises cancelled so far and would like to use some of our cruise next certificates.
  2. Exactly! Spread the word everyone! Let's not let NCL get away with this, they need to offer the same cancellation options as Carnival and RC!!!
  3. Same here, we have an 11 day cruise on the Gem on March 26. I they don't give us the option to cancel and rebook, we will be cancelling our 14 day Breakaway cruise in October and our 12 day cruise on the Gem in April 2021. 100% boycott for us!
  4. Now that both Carnival and RC have modified their cancellation policies allowing people to cancel and rebook a cruise within the next year due to the effects of COVID-19, it's time for NCL to step up! I've been posting on the official NCL Facebook page, asking when NCL will offer the same policy due to COVID-19. I strongly suggest you all do the same!!! Let's bombard their social media until they have no choice! (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.)
  5. Excellent start, can't wait for more! And, thank you for taking the time to post your review!
  6. LOL, "survive?"!! First world problems am I right?!!!
  7. Thank you so much cruisinsc1, we just saved $540 on our Gem March 2020 cruise, $660 on our Breakaway October 2020 cruise and $625 on our Gem March 2021 cruise!!! That's over $1,800 saved!!!
  8. We're cruising the Escape in September then taking a break from NCL for awhile... Their prices for 2020 are insane and we feel the quality of cruise they provide has been going downhill for the last 3 years...
  9. Very well said, Thank you roger001 for explaining the intent of my thread so eloquently.
  10. Except we didn't know there was a limit until we received the bill... We were under the impression that we could order one appetizer or salad, one entree and one dessert. We weren't told there was a monetary limit on the entree. I guess we should have looked more closely at the free dinner voucher however I'm not sure it was printed on it either... Again not a complaint, more of an observation.
  11. Huge difference, the pettiness comes from charging Platinum (loyal) cruisers $1 on a "Free" meal. It isn't fair to compare it to paying the extra dollar on a $16 drink order. The ultimate beverage package isn't a reward for being a loyal customer...
