Pink Lady One Posted February 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I was wondering how early the pool opened on Embarkation day. We always try to get on board by noon, and often have our swimsuits in our carry on. I would love to try out this pool before the crowds take over.:) Thanks for any info! Orlandocruiser Posted February 14, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I just looked at the pictures we took right after boarding on the Infinity in October and the T pool was not open. I think they keep the pools closed until after the muster drill.
Literary Lynne Posted February 14, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I'm sure it is:) It's my favourite place on board. Enjoy Lynne
Orlandocruiser Posted February 14, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I just looked at the pictures we took right after boarding on the Infinity in October and the T pool was not open. I think they keep the pools closed until after the muster drill. It just occurred to me to check the time stamp on our pictures of the pools (main and T) and they were taken at 2:45. (Also it was a lovely day no weather conditions requiring the closing of the pools)
newcruisergal Posted February 15, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2013 We embarked Summit ~noon and after lunch headed to the pool and it was open. They had actually drained and were painting the deep outdoor pool, so it was nice to have T-pool as an option as the San Juan sun was HOT :D
phoenix_dream Posted February 15, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 15, 2013 It varies with the ship and sailing. In almost all of my (22 Celebrity)cruises, the T-pool was open upon boarding - I know because it is my favorite place and I also head right there after lunch:). On a cruise or two, it has opened later - not sure why.
tfrcal Posted February 15, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 15, 2013 It is hit and miss. On our recent b2b on Summit it was not open at the end of the first cruise :(
