Flying to Anchorage?

Returning to MCO from YVR we have elected to take the Princess shuttle to SEA because the return flights are better from there. We didn't want to have to wait until evening to leave from YVR and we can catch an earlier flight from SEA to MCO therby saving $$ as well.

You may also want to consider looking at Quick Shuttle which I have used several times. Long time vendor, efficient service, leaves direct from Canada Place to Seatac. In the past Princess has been more costly.

I believe the Princess transfer is $40 pp and I read on many trip reports that they pretty much get waved through Customs.

There is a standard that applies to everyone, with random enhanced spot checks.

You make it sound like Princess passengers get some kind of entitlement?

In Alaska there is no customs or immigration requirements. US Customs is cleared in Vancouver as you board the ship.

The response was to the Ca/US border by bus- at Blaine, heading to Seattle. You certainly do go through customs there.
