Missing the port of Grand Cayman.

Almost missed it again the third week of January this year due to high wind; we ended up tendering to Spotts bay instead of George Town.

 

This happened to us during the last week of January.

We missed Grand Cayman in October. It wasn't because of a hurricane though. The captain pulled in but it was too rough to tender and we got a sea day instead.

 

We almost missed it last cruise (beginning of Feb. 2013). We had to dock on the other side of the island. Almost all of Carnival's water excursions were cancelled. Tendering took awhile. According to our tablemates who stayed on the ship, the ship didn't anchor and they had to keep moving the ship.

We were on Liberty last May and missed Grand Cayman. Pretty hummed as it was one of the 'big' excursions we had planned for our munchkins. Good luck on your trip!
