Seward to Anchorage

What is the best way from Seward to Anchorage at the end of the cruise. I thought I saw a train a coupl of months ago but now I can't. Does anyone know how much the RCCL transfer is? :confused:

The Alaska RR leaves Seward for Anchorage at 6 PM each day, and arrives in ANC about 10:15 PM. The scenery is really beautiful and a one way adult passage is $59, I think. Check out their site http://www.akrr.com

I checked it out but it doesn't do any good for a 7:30 flight. I did book with Alaska Bus Line for $49 each. :)

RCCL does do a train transfer from Seward to Anchorage. My wife and I are already booked for this and I got them by calling RCCL directly. Supposedly those with train transfers have priority getting off of the ship and the train is supposed to get you to the airport for 2:00 or later departing planes. If you can't get reservations now, maybe you can get them on Friday. ;)

I would look at the cruise contracted train, but it is significantly more costly compared to the regular run, it goes to the airport, but with the early arrival, a waste of time there. Perhaps look at the bus option with a drop off downtown or added tour, some include Portage Glacier. Make the most of your short time.
