Can someone tell me how far the beach is from the cruise port and how much a cab is please.

About 15-20 minutes or so depending on traffic. Can be a bit longer returning due to traffic so allow for that. There are vans at the port that take groups for $7 per person. They drop you and you can pick one up at Orient Beach for the same price. They do wait to fill up so budget time accordingly.
