Is it worth bringing your own wine?

People laugh, but unless you are really into wine, some of the box stuff ain't all bad. We order the $25-25 stuff often in the dining room, about the same as many restaurants.

BUT - we took a few Boxes of wine with us. Some in checked bag, some in roll aboard. We keep it in the fridge and LOVE the afternoon glass for our won cocktail hour. We take a FULL glass to the dining room often to get us started and to save some bucks. Same with heading out on deck. $25 a bottle for heavy wino's can add up fast.

...they did not have Trader Joes Two Buck Shaw (btw, my daily wines are mostly from Trader Joes -- though not the Two Buck Shaw which is a terrific value)...

I just tried Espiral Vinho Verde from Trader Joe's... only $3.99 a bottle!

It is a "light" white wine... It's not the best wine I've ever had, but it's pretty good... especially for $3.99!!

I'll probably bring a bottle or two on my next cruise!
