5012nk Posted February 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2013 We will be on RC Liberty of the Seas in April and are looking at their snorkeling excursion at Rendezvous Caye. Can anyone give us some insight into this location? We were in Aruba a few weeks ago and the snorkeling was terrible. thanks
uznmyhead Posted February 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2013 I would love to hear about this as well. We will be on the RC Mariner OTS and have booked this excursion. Anyone been on this lately?
kona_wahine Posted March 8, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2013 We went thru Carnival first of February. Loved it! They picked us up at the ship and went directly there. Took about 45 minutes. They broke us into 3 groups; advanced, intermediate, beginning. (Your choice) we went advanced as we have snorkeled many times. They have the leader take you out and show you fish and plants and explain. If you are interested in that make sure you stay to the front. After snorkeling they offer drinks and food for sale. Burgers, hotdogs, local beer, soda, so take money if you may be interested. The island is small and clean. They had a couple kayaks if you wanted to do that. The water was beautiful. Nice boat ride back to the ship and after there was plenty of time to take the tender into tow for a bit of shopping.

I have read others say about 20 minutes. Was the water choppy or something? Just wondering. Is the snorkeling from the beach? How far out do you go? Is there an actual reef out there? How deep is the water once you are out there? Can you remember how much the food was? Does it cost extra to rent the kayaks? Thanks for your help. :)
