Independence of the Seas Question - Spa/Gym Age Limit?

Brian here, 14 yo.

How old do you have to be to use the gym? is it 16yo.?

I just got off of the Freedom and you had to be 16 yoa to use the gym.

We are just off Independence of the Seas, and my daughter is 10 and a cross country runner. She was on the treadmill next to me and was asked to get off the equipment, since the age limit was 16.

 

They did say it was fine for her to be IN there, just not using equipment, which I think makes sense- most kids under 16 are probably a safety risk, although I'm sure you (like my daughter) would be an exception!

Does this differ from ship to ship then? My son was able to use gym on navigator when he was 15 after I signed a waiver
