karen2754 Posted June 10, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2005 Our whole family will be sharing one stateroom (couldn't get 2 connecting rooms). I see on the floorplan there's a "privacy curtain" between the queen bed and the kids' convertible beds. How private is it? Can the adults be awake with lights on without disturbing sleeping kids? Is the curtain thick enough to muffle noise at all?
NCmom Posted June 10, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2005 The privacy curtain will hide the light, but does not muffle sound. It is like a lined curtain--very similar in weight to the curtains at the veranda doors. Also, the TV is in the seating area of the room, not in the bed area, so if you want to watch TV, that would be on the other side of the curtain from the bed. I think of it as being like a dressing room curtain--it offers privacy for changing clothes, but not much else.
CeleBrat Posted June 11, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2005 We always bring along some clothespins so that we can clip it shut as it opens from the middle. That deters our kids from trying to play peek-a-boo, and helps them fall asleep quicker.
