Passport needed for Majesty 3 night cruise to Bahamas?

I think I've finally convinced a friend to cruise with me, and she just told me she doesn't have a passport. :eek::eek::eek: I just assume everyone has a passport these days since I've had one since I was 1, but apparently she doesn't.

 

We want to go on the Miami-Nassau-CocoCay-Miami Majesty cruise in May. Can she get by with just a driver's license and birth certificate?

No Passport required for that cruise. Certified birth certificate and drivers license will suffice.

 

A Passport is highly recommended but NOT required for your cruise.

I have another question about this. So she doesn't need a passport, but she needs to have the BC match her license apparently. Well, she's married, so her current last name is different than her maiden name. Does she need her marriage license as well?

Yes, take the marriage license for sure :) They may or may not ask for it but its better to be safe than sorry!

I was told by RCCL to have my marriage license also seeing my BC does not match my license:)..going on a 4 night out of Miami in 5 days!!
