Has anyone stayed at this hotel before, and if so, is it nice, updated? Bought a pre-cruise. Also, does the hotel sell tour tickets? I am not one to walk around by myself.

As no one has replied, I would suggest going over to TripAdvisor, Cruise Critic's sister website, which specializes in hotel reviews. There is tons of info over there.

stayed there post cruise last may and got it off of priceline. updated, large and clean rooms. great location--1 block from monorail and 4 blocks from the market. would love to stay there again if we could get a good price

there was a total renovation one yr ago. Great location and close to everything. Stayed there last summer.

I stayed there a few years ago with my daughter before and after cruise to Alaska. We loved the Heavenly Beds at the Westin. The monorail is close. You can ride the monorail which ends at the Space Needle. The walk down to Pike's Market is about 4 blocks downhill with plenty to see and eat at places.

Email to the hotel's concierge for suggestions of activities or places to eat. The concierge will arrange an outing for you. I have done that many times at Westin through out the world.
