Reflection AQ Cabin Question

BuddyR

Recommended Posts

We have booked an A2 cabin on deck 11 on the Reflection for December. There are very few A2 cabins available right now. We are currently in cabin 1648, just aft of the hump. Cabin 1512 (forward) is available. Would the forward cabins be better than the aft? I am aware of the overhang. What about the window washing equipment? Are there any A2 cabins to avoid. I am watching availability since this sailing is still fairly far out.

Thanks!

Laura

I would stay with 1648 because I think it is in a better location on the ship - closer to the aft elevator banks. Up to the buffet/Lawn Club, down to the dining and martini bar.

Other things to consider, 1512 has the bed by the bath configuration, but it might be a bit noisy as it is under the gym area.

1648 has the bed by the balcony configuration, and you have cabins above you, so you should have little to noise from above.

We always book 1521 it is quiet and has no overhang. Have had this cabin twice on Solstice. The only reason we changed for our Reflection cruise is we got a great deal on an Aqua Suite. :)

I would choose 1648 as I am a light sleeper and the room is quiet. It is also closer to the aft elevators. The other room has the gym above which could be a source of noise for some cruisers. There is no window washing equipment by 1648.

I don't think 1521 was one of the two choices.

Thanks for the responses...the question is...should I stay with 1648 with an overhang or should I try to move more forward? Right now, I think the consensus is to stay with 1648. Will I have some sun on this balcony?
