Carry On Soda on Royal

We have not been since the carry on wine program started, and now a friend told me they are allowing soda as well. I cannot confirm this on Royal website ?

Officially soda and water are not allowed to be carried on but unofficially they don't stop anyone.

We bring a 12 pack of Pepsi on each cruise and restock as needed in one of the port stops.

Hmm, we will be doing a 15 night cruise. Do you think they would let us take a couple/few 12 packs. Or if Spain does`t sell cans, bottles?

Probably, and you can usually bring more on at port stops.

How do you carry on? Can you just put some in a small cooler of rolling suitcase? I'd like to bring some sparkling water and Izze type drinks my ddd likes.

I suppose it depends on how much you want to carry on, but we've had no problems putting a few sodas on our carry on bag.

A month ago, we put a case of water, 2-12 packs of different sodas and 5 hour energy in a bag and just gave it to the porter with our luggage. It was obvious by the weight what it was. Showed up at our room, no problems at all.
