Sumar76 Posted March 18, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2013 I would love to sign up for the Ultimate Ship Tour on the Diamond, however we will not be boarding till about 6pm on day of embarkation. Is there any way to sign up ahead of time? Getting on so late, what do you think my are getting a spot or two?
beg3yrs Posted March 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2013 You'll likely have the same chance everyone else does. If they have more people sign up than they have space, they usually have a drawing to see who gets to go. I took the UST last May on the Diamond and there were still two spaces available. Getting on so late, what do you think my are getting a spot or two? on the Sapphire, the sign up book was left at the desk the first half of our cruise... after that time, they reviewed the list and contacted the ones that signed up. if more than 12, they had a drawing. So, you should have plenty of time since it's not on a "first come" basis.

caribill Posted March 19, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2013 If you are on an itinerary with most of the cruisers new to Princess, most people will not know about the UST and therefore not rush to sign up for it. It will be mentioned in the embarkation day Patter, but I find in the excitment of boarding, many passengers really do not find that paragraph. Sumar76 Posted March 19, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Thanks Caribill..that's what makes this board so helpful. Hoping since there are a lot of B2B cruisers if interested in the UST they will do it on the first leg.
