Izyda Posted March 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Hi! You know that sound that the computer makes when the security officer inserts your Seapass card to check if you are allowed to board. Is there anyone that has that sound recorded? If so, will you share it with me? I want to turn it into a sms-sound to my phone. Only interested in that sound from RCCL ships. 1ParticularHbr Posted March 19, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 19, 2013 What a cool idea! I'd LOVE to have the Sea Pass card sound on my phone :D Unfortunately, I tried the link and in order to download the tone, it looks like you have to sign up for a $9.99/mo ringtone subscription. I don't want it THAT badly.
welikepalms Posted March 19, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Thanks for the reality break this morning. I put my headphone on, closed my eyes and it was almost like I was leaving the ship for a wonderful day ashore!! Thanks for posting! Rare brillohead Posted March 19, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 19, 2013 What a cool idea! I'd LOVE to have the Sea Pass card sound on my phone :D Unfortunately, I tried the link and in order to download the tone, it looks like you have to sign up for a $9.99/mo ringtone subscription. I don't want it THAT badly. Use the small "Get ringtone" button on the lower left corner of the black box area (just to the left of the little heart), NOT the big green "Download Ringtone" button underneath the black box and NOT the "Send Ringtone to your cell phone / Start Now" button to the right of the black box. The little "get ringtone" button will download the MP3 file to your computer, and you can then transfer to your cell phone via USB cable or email. temple1 Posted March 19, 2013 #9 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Thanks for the links. My new phone came with very few ring tone choices and I don't like any of them.
TBone2K Posted March 19, 2013 #10 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Wouldn't you know it, I was going to try and get a sample of that sound this time around. Thanks brillohead! I'm not much of a "techie" so your tip is greatly appreciated! You also might want to fix your sig so it's not so wide. People can't see all of your post because it's off the screen. Rare brillohead Posted March 19, 2013 #11 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Thanks brillohead! I'm not much of a "techie" so your tip is greatly appreciated! Happy to help! :) The freebie websites have to get their money somehow, so they sell ads to the not-free services to cover their expenses in running the site. The few people who just click on the big links are covering the cost for the rest of us to click on the little link! :D
