sailingawaysoon Posted March 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2013 Has anyone done this? If so, please tell me about it. It appears for $25 you get 3 alcoholic beverages, but are snacks or food included? How long is the event and which nights is it held? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks! ezcruizer Posted March 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2013 We did this and it was very nice. They served lots of food and I mean a lot. Shrimp, crab legs, ribs, corn, appetizers and more. We also got served dessert. You will enjoy it.

Sounds like a great deal for the price. I'm looking forward to it!
voyager89 Posted March 20, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2013 Sounds cool! Might be there as well, not for the food or the drinks since you cab get that anywhere you want on the ship but for the ambience of it, I guess its like a shore cookout party kinda thing isn't it? True Texan Posted March 20, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2013 Is this something you reserve in advance? Where is it on the Oasis?
sailingawaysoon Posted March 20, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted March 20, 2013 It's under the specialty dining and yes, you reserve it in advance. I believe it was $25 a person for food and 3 alcoholic drinks. It's cheaper if you don't have alcohol. Sounds like a deal for ribs, crab legs and shrimp. tyry Posted April 5, 2013 #7 Share Posted April 5, 2013 Was looking forward to this, but of course, on our upcoming cruise it is scheduled on the second formal night. That was one night I actually wanted to eat in the MDR and we have late seating. Oh well, maybe next time.

If interested, might check once on board. We are cruising on the Allure soon and they do a similar type event at Rita's on the Boardwalk with several nights offered. Is this one at the Seafood Shack on the Oasis Boardwalk?
Let'sGo! Posted April 5, 2013 #9 Share Posted April 5, 2013 This sounds kind of cool... one question though: We have prepaid for the Premium alcohol pkg. Since that's supposed to include specialty restaurants, should I book the one that doesn't include alcohol? Seems silly to pay for it twice. This is the one at the Seafood Shack on the Oasis. I will definitely inquire once onboard to see if they are having it any other nights. Didn't even think about that. Thanks.
