harbourside Posted March 21, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2013 While devouring my Uniworld brochure, in the dining section I came across this for alternative dining. (snack all day from our ALL DAY BISTRO MENU). Does anyone know anything about this. Do you order food from the bar????.
Yggdrasil98 Posted March 21, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2013 I had this on my south France trip. There was a very creditable small buffet set out each day. Usually soup, salad, crusty bread and an array of sandwiches and dessert. Much different to another line I travelled on where dried up sandwiches were left out for hours. So if it's like France, it was very nice. :)
dancer11 Posted March 23, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2013 On the River Queen for 13 days in September, we consistently saw very fresh and appetizing sandwiches and soup plus I think some sweets served at a long table set up in the lounge. For some people, avoiding the dining room at noon kept them from over-eating. There is also a tea in the afternoons, with finger sandwiches and sweets, which we really had to work at resisting. Nice, simple offerings
