hmwinter85 Posted March 21, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2013 I'm thinking about spending an hour or two at the Caymen Motor Mesuem when we are in GC in a couple fo weeks. We were planning on just staying on the ship while in GC but my DH is a huge batman fan and I saw they had the batmoblie there and I know he would love to see it. I don't have a lot of experience using taxis so I'm curious as to how the logistics work. I'm assuming it's pretty easy to get a taxi at the port. Are they just lined up there waiting for you? My main concern is getting back to the port when we are done. Will there be Taxis at the mesuem waiting to take us back? Will our Taxi wait for us? In that past we have always done excurisons through the ship so I wouldn't have to worry about getting back to the ship and could enjoy the excurision instead. bookbabe Posted March 21, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2013 Usually we just ask the taxi to come back at a later time, and generally it's worked out okay. The museum is only a few minutes walk from the Turtle Farm, so if there was no taxi at the museum there would definitely be one at the turtles. http://www.caymanmotormuseum.com/new/
drew sailbum Posted March 21, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2013 The Motor Museum is less than a 100 yard walk from the Turtle Farm. Short and easy.
cruiseguy456 Posted March 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2013 There is also a van bus line that runs every half hour or so.
