akowilm Posted March 26, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 26, 2013 TA just called to let me know she found us a $300 on board credit. Can I wait until we board to purchase my bev package and use the credit towards that?
Happy Cruiser 6143 Posted March 26, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 26, 2013 TA just called to let me know she found us a $300 on board credit. Can I wait until we board to purchase my bev package and use the credit towards that? Yup. Anything you purchase on board will be charged to your shipboard account which will start out with a $300 credit. OBC can also cover your gratuities since they're charged to your account. Enjoy! akowilm Posted March 26, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted March 26, 2013 Thank you! The date is fast approaching, and as a bit of a 'control freak' (DH's words, not mine....) I need to have all of the details ironed out!!!
tunaman2011 Posted March 26, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 26, 2013 Greetings Just one thing to note, the OBC does not show on your account the day of boarding. It doesn't appear till the 2nd night (another of Celebrity's wonderful IT systems). So if you check your account on your TV the 1st night and it's not there, do not panic. Have a great cruise. Rare mizLORInj Posted March 26, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 26, 2013 OBC is a wonderful thing. Ours showed up the second day when I checked the TV account. We also had to sign some paper presented by our cabin steward showing our acknowledgement of the OBC. I was splitting it with my friend who was sharing the cabin so I had to go to Guest Services and be debited so her account could be credited.
