beachnut2011 Posted March 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2013 Just curious about the Solstice deck on ships such as the Reflection, Solstice, Silhouette, etc.. I assume the adult only solarium is located on this deck. Is all of this area enclosed under glass? Or is part of it located outside in the sun and fresh ocean breeze? According to the pictures, it appears it's all enclosed. (I hope not) thanks,
gfkcruiser Posted March 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2013 I have been on the Solstice and Silhouette and from the Solarium forward it is covered. The other pools are on this deck and open. There are sliding doors that enclose this portion. I believe that is what you are asking. Gail
Algebralovr Posted March 27, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 27, 2013 The Solstice deck is actually the highest deck, forward. The Solarium is a deck lower and is covered.

I did not realize there's actually 2 decks. One covered and one open. Good deal! Are both adult only? thanks for you input.

Just an FYI, Celebrity reserves the right to open up the Solarium to children in the even of inclement weather. This may include cold weather. They state this on their web site. The Solstice deck is open to the sky (they do have those glass portions/railings on the edge but they rarely stop a strong wind). 2. No it's not adults only. There is no barrier. It is not attended. It's just an area with loungers and chairs. There would be nothing to stop children going up there apart from the fact its quiet and therefore it appears few people know about it.
